Good afternoon gents,

I am the proud owner of authentic PAM111. A few weeks ago, I thought I lost it. I was distracted and took it off in my bedroom, It fell under the bed and I didn't find it for weeks.

To make a long story short, I want a replica now. I will still wear my 111 but I don't know what I'd do if I ever actually lost this.

I want a PAM341 Big Egiziano.

I've done a TON of research and been in contact with quite a few sellers but I am still in search for the best replica for the 60mm version. Yes, I am 6'1, 245 with 8" wrists and know how big it is. I understand DSN makes the best replica but it's a 52mm version of the original.

Can anyone PM me or post any information available on what to do? I am leaning toward DSN for the 52mm but I'd really like a 60mm. I'd even take advice on whether or not I should actually go for the 52mm.

That's what insurance is for, mate. If you don't have your PAM insured, do so NOW.

Other than DSN's version, I believe all the sellers are sourcing the same Big Egiz, so it won't matter who you purchase from.

It's insured, no worries there.

Anyhow, how is the Egi from this seller? http://www.puretimewatch.com/search/?searchstring=341&x=0&y=0

It looks nice but there are duplicate listings with different ratings?

Coldi, I'm looking at your link now...

How is the quality of the other 60mm compared to the DSN? I hear that it's not as good but how much inferior?

Anyone else on the 341 non DSN quality? I know the bezel is off but how is the movement and lockup of crown, etc..

I'm leaning toward a DSN and the 60mm from Puretime also.

Mvt should just be a 6497. Pretty darn reliable. When you say lock up of crown do you mean the snap and water resistance?

Yes sir, the water resistance is key because I'd like to not have to worry about getting it wet.

The 6497 asian or swiss? Are they both the same?

Davidsen says he uses the 7750 and the 6497 on his spec sheet? http://s40.photobucket.com/albums/e230/watchmmx/The Big Engizianos/?action=view&current=image.jpg

Puretime lists the 60mm watch I want for only 189 with the 6497. As long as this is a good quality watch, I will be happy... I want a big egi replica as close to the new release as possible. I understand that the bezel is a little squarer but it won't bother me.

I live in New York City and the replica Panerai's on Canal street are pure junk. I don't want to order one online and end up with one of those. Any help will be greatly appreciated.

DSN's rep is of the vintage Egiz, I believe. So, if you're after a rep of the new re-release, go with Puretime. It will be far above "Canal St" quality, I assure you.

Thanks guys... I'm going to get both I think I ordered the DSN and puretime is next.

Anybody have any pics or wristshots of the Puretime / Cartel Big Egi? I have plenty of the DSN.

Also, Why did Davidsen make the 52mm and not the 60mm? Did Panerai also produce a 52mm Egi in the past?

Davidsen makes both the 52mm and the 60mm
Has anyone compared his product to the PC version?
