I have many Reps but no Panerai
Im looking to buy my first PAN
Would apperiate some guidance from experts
I favour the Luminors
Looking for something as close to Gen in look & feel ?

Agreed, you really can't go wrong with these models. Since you've never had a PAM before, it's a great model to get a feel for them for not a lot of $$.

The boutiques from Toro are very high value and as far as I can work out virtually indistinguishable. They've actually spoiled the marque in my eyes, since I can't justify spending more for any other model.

And if you like after testing the OOB versions, go to Marlin for something like a 111 or 127 with his stellar upgrades, worth a little more, but every penny worth his upgrades IMO

There are more than 2 casebacks mate. I went with the 411 firenze but choose the engraivings you like the most. The rest of the watch is the same.

OOB is Out of Box but I think it was used incorrectly. Out of box means as purchased from the dealers, with no modifications done. What Marlin2284 does is take the existing PAM111 or PAM127 from the factory and raise it to a whole other level. So it's not Out of Box.

That is actually not a logo but a raised portion on the dial which shows the SLC (Siluro a Lenta Corsa) or the pig submarines who used the original Panerai watches during WWII.
