Panerai 504 stopped working after 3 months

Hello guys, My 504 stopped running after 3 months. I maybe wore it 20 times. What should I expect to service this or should I consider other options? new movement or swap with something else? Will a unitas fit in these cases?

- Balance is good
- Main Spring is good (fully wound)
- Hands spin freely

I didnt have a case back tool but someone in CB told me I could use electrical tape on my fingers to open the case and it worked like a charm.. I removed the dec plates and sprayed with compressed air.. I took it out of the case to and moved the second hand just a tad to see if it was stuck and it moved.. I inserted the stem and it started back up. Gunna take it to my watch maker to put a little earl on her and button it up.

As I took the plates off I kinda anwsered my own quection on if a unitas would fit.. the dec plates look nice but a gen ETA would look good with it too.

it looked like a unitas clone to me.

I think there's a standard 6497 under the plates.
Maybe if it breaks you can swap it for another inexpensive asian 6497 and reglue the plates?

Seems it stops every now and then and starts up.. wonder if it needs a little oil..

Is it 7750? When it stops, do you need to wind it hard or a bit pounce it to make it start again?
