Panerai 253 Regatta from Angus - Swiss 7750, Sapphire + AR

the dial is all wrong:
- hobnails are supposed to be raised not sunken
- the tick markers for the seconds are printed on a flat surface on the gen not on hobnails
- the font for the Panerai, Regatta, etc is wrong
- the movement decoration is also wrong - as ususal

now this one is very close other than the naming luminor panerai and regatta flyback should be on the plate like this one:
you guys can compare it... my friend own one and he refused to sell it.. i don't think anyone stupid enough to sell his gen 253... :lol: I will try to ask him to take couple picture of his gen 253 this weekend. I will upload his gen 253 when i get it.

there are 2 dial version out there - the one posted above and the one I posted under PAM253 new updated dial - most versions avaiable are based on the above dial. The newer dial version has other flaws

so you are saying that ..the NEw Angus version has some flaw on the dial but the movement is SWISS ? I love the swiss 7750...

no the new Angus version with the different dial, has an Asian 7750 - best quality ever I might add from a finishing and accuracy standpoint. The one above is the older version with the most common dial and that is the only Swiss 7750 253 available so far.
