The PAM 214 is similar to PAM 288 but it is, moreover, a Rattrapante Chrono and has Display caseback instead of Solid caseback like the PAM 288.
The gen PAM 214 started in 2005 H-series, hopefully heralds a line of regular production chronographs in Radiomir cases, this combination of case and complications having previously been confined to special editions. The gen PAM 214 is a Ratrappante Chrono, using the same movement OP XVIII as the new 1950 Rattrapante Chronos, an automatic movement with a double column wheel system controlling the chronograph functions.
A "Rattrapante","split seconds","double chronograph†or “doppelchrono†has two seconds hands, one hand is superimposed over the other. When you start the chrono, by pressing pusher @2, both hands start together, but when they are running, if you press the “Rattrapante†pusher @8, you stop the lower second hand, while the other continues running. If you push again the pusher @8 the lower hand catches up the hand which is running and they continue together again, if you push another time the lower hand stops again and the upper continues running, and so every time you repeat the pushing. Obviously the rep PAM 214 doesn’t have the Rattrapante function due to it fits a conventional A7750 movement, so the rattrapante function pusher @8 is only decorative. This is the main problem of PAM 214 replicas. Concerning construction the rep PAM 214 would be a First Class or even a Super rep like the PAM 288, but due to its false Rattrapante function and Display caseback which denounces a very inaccurate movement we must consider it just a very good rep. As you can see by the rep links there are new improved versions but quite more expensive and with the same movement flaws, up to you.
If you can live with this inaccuracy the PAM 214 could be a good choice. But, anyway, if you are looking for a Radiomir Chrono the best choice would be the Super rep PAM 288 with solid caseback.

There are no good replicas of these watches and it cannot have a replica with Rattrapante function at this moment.
