Pam luminor flyback 1950

Hi anyone with any suggestions ? After a new crystal for my Pam 42mm luminor flyback 1950 with gasket any measurements ect I’m based in uk so thinking couzins ? Or any other stockists thanks in advance I’d load pic but having trouble ?

It’s a Pam 212 trusty time did a version not sure if anyone else did it

Done some digging apparently domed mineral glass 37mm/ 37.2 mm x 1 will fit but not exact as the proper ones are unavailable ? Comments pls

Trustytime is a dealer, not a factory so they did not make it. The ones made by H-Facf were supposed to be same as gen. So parts fitting the gen PAM212 should fit. Cousins does not carry Panerai parts from what I can tell (I don't use them so I cannot say for a fact). WSO on ebay lists it at 37mm, as well as Amazon. But they cost a pretty penny from $190 to $228, more than half the price of the rep.

To those thinking, why not just buy the crystal from the factory? Like I mentioned above, these are H-factory watches and the factory is no more.

Thanks for reply have I missed something if h factory is no llonger going what factory would I buy from? On another forum from a couple of years ago stated.. 37mm 37.2 would fit but is plexi dome cousins land offi do that cousins is a couple of quid ebay is the German version for about a fiver might be worth a punt ? Saves it being a paperweight !!!

If it's a fiver, compared to two bills, I'm pretty sure it's worth a try at least. If nothing else you can use the crystal as a paperweight instead if it doesn't fit.

Maybe English is not your first language as you failed to grasp the intent of my post (and you missed the smiley at the end). So i'll be more descriptive 5 dollars compared to 200 dollars is very big so if you want to try the 5 dollar cystal, then go ahead. At least you are not spending a huge amount of money and then finding out later that it does not fit. If it fits then good, if it does not then you can get a crystal of a different size to try out.The 5 dollar crystal you can use as a paper weight (it was referring to your statement that you don't want your watch to be a paperweight). Then I put a smiley at the end to indicate I wasn't being too serious. Now I don't have a smiley at the end of my reply. So I am being totally serious now.

Just a quick one the original is 2mm thick but these are 1 mm I presume this doesn’t make any difference as it’s the cercumferancecthat matters( 37mm)

Thickness won't affect the fit as it doesn't change the outer diameter of the crystal. It may affect how the dial looks visually and certainly won't be as impact resistant as a thicker crystal.

Hi just to anyone who needs a bit of info my crystal had a chip did some digging ... eventually found plexi crystal took to watchmaker he suggested as a lot resort use the plexi but would try and source a mineral glass( sapphire wreccrazy money and unsure if they would fit even if you could get one) upshot got a crystal from cousins uk diameter are 37 mm x 2 mm domed .... perfect so if yours had smashed theses are the details ..... cheers for mysterio for input happy days
