Still awaiting the news (if any) on their historic/mech mov't powered models changes...

The rest of the bunch listed above, while nice to look at and admire the technological inovations, don't do much for me, unfortunately. :-(

cheers,

Any word on the Black Ceramic 1950 seen on Mr Bonati???

Here's some pics of some of the new models:

my gosh

what a let down this year.

i was also a bit excited about a tobacco dial titanium 240. and it's ok looking, except for the date bubble, half marker at 9 position AND subseconds too close to center, and the word "automatic" on the dial.

in my opinion, they all look...well, not like panerai. and some are outright ugly.

oh well. enjoy the simplicity of your current watches, as it would seem they are becoming extinct under the corporate hands of richemont.

Are photos available for all of them in one location?

Sorry for being a lazy ass

If I thought it was all Mr Bonati's fault, I'd give him a slap

Unfortunatelly he plays just a small part in a much larger commercial enterprise that as a brand owner cannot survive off a 'smell of an oily rag' - meaning support and religious following of their old-school Panerai fans around the world. There's a larger high-end watches market share they're endevouring to capture, and the latest products release reflects exactly that.

As I stated in a similar reply post on RWG, most of my/our mech PAM reps are 'more Panerai' to the roots, than gen Panerai watches available today and in the near future.

Sorry, just had to vent some of my frustration with the 'brand' lately...:)

cheers,
