Panerai 127 from Davidsen DSN with Swiss, a few questions

Hello,

I bought a Panerai 127 DSN from Davidsen with the Swiss movement a few years back. I am guessing in 07 or 08? Anyway, this watch gets NO wrist time what so ever since I bought a gen 372.

It has been used but not abused, right now it is on a GSD strap but it just sits there.

Since I paid quite alot for it (don´t remember how much) and the Swiss movements are no more, I was curious on how much it would be worth today, ballpark figure. Thinking about selling it.

I have a PAM 187, the new replica, that I am wearing today, otherwise I hardly wear my reps anymore.

It´s kind of funny how things turn out. I have a B&R 46 mm replica, but had to get a genuine one. I have a genuine Railmaster XXL, but borrowed that to my cousin for a year and had to get a replica, which I still have. So, usually if I like a watch, and if I can afford it, I´d rather have it as a gen.

Got a replica Chopard MM XL as well, as well as a Panerai Egiziano replica, and an unbranded 60 mm pilot style watch. Maybe a few more as well, but I never wear them nowaday.

The other replicas are hardly worth anything, but I was curiuos about that Swiss DSN.

If anyone have a clue, please let me know.

Take care,

N

Well post a clear movement pic and we'll help you decide real quickly what it is.

If it's a Swiss 6497-1 with the decorated bridges put on, I would consider that less desirable considering its completely wrong for the 127. Not to mention visually the balance wheel and center wheel are totally different looking.

Swinese, on the other hand, is a very nice mix IMO. Its basically the Asian movement with Swiss internals... so you get the reliability and visual appeal of a Swiss movement. I'll post up a before and after of the difference. My 127 happens to be a full out swinese.
