I just got my fist replica.

The new Panerai 111M - Noob Factory.

For some odd reason it's stop working, once you give it a little hit, it start to work once more. This has happens 2 times. I don't have a clue what it can be.

Has anyone had this problem?

Does anyone know what it can be?

Is this commons issue with Replica watches?

Please, someone give me a hand

How long should a fully winded 111M should last for?

Thank you

If watch stops at certain time, check for hand bindings, i.e. minute hand interferes with second hand to cause it to stop when min hand reaches 8-9. Poor QC and watch installation, to solve it, remove movement from case and level all hands. That happened to one of my acquistions lately.

Cbr1574,

There are so many issues that could be causing your watch to stop. I was having an issue with my recently received pam 351m where it would lose time (sometimes an hour) a day and also the minute/hour hand would stop while the seconds would still be moving. I know your watch does not have a second hand.

I contacted my dealer to tell him about this situation. He advised I carefully wind the watch 50 turns and lay on the table (or watch box) and it should run for approximately 40 hours. Mine went 46 hours and 15 minutes before stopping.

I know there are more knowledgeable members then I but it is something to consider trying. I hope everything for your pam works out!

Good luck and let us know how it goes.

Do your watches stop working when you close the crown guard lever? I ask because I had this problem with my 111.

I had to remove the crown guard and file the lever down a little. A very simple fix which, I'm happy to say, worked.

Any other ideas here? I just got the same watch, and mine worked fine for a few hours then wound down, I wound it up and now nothing. Not overwound, can't figure anything else out. It kept great time out of the box yesterday and then today, nothing. The second hand moves when setting the time, but not even the recommend gentle palm bump (perhaps I've been too timid about that...) has done anything.

Any help appreciated, if nothing works I'm very disappointed in this 1:1...

You shouldn't be "disappointed in this 1:1". Stuff like this happens all the time in the rep game. Movement problems and DOAs are a fact of life.

The bump should be relatively firm...not as hard as dropping it on a desk obviously, but it shouldnt just be a lught tap. Maybe about as hard as tapping a pack of cigarettes, if youve seen that.

Otherwise, you can contact the dealer for an exchange or return, though that would take a while. Good thing you've got RWI and the TDs, who take care of their customers.

Personally I'd take advantage of it needing the service and get it looked at and serviced, and have the case waterproofed too.

Thanks, folks. I did contact the PureTime seller but haven't heard back anything. I tried a more "emphatic" bump but to no avail. I posted some pictures on the other forum, I'll drop one here, too.

As I mentioned over there, sorry that these are not professional grade but the best I can manage from where I am at the moment.

Give it a week or so, TDs will get back to you. Good luck! :D
