Panerai 111H's New Shoes

Hi all,

It's been a month since I had my first Panerai, a PAM 111H. It's a nice watch to match a blue jeans during a weekend stroll. It has a clean, simple, and classic design, which gives a subtle but masculine look.

Replacing the standard rep leather strap is a must for this type of watch, it makes the PAM 111H stand out and be seen. I've picked a Panatime dark brown wide grain vintage strap for the watch ($39), 24/24mm, 3mm thick, very soft leather, and has a sew in pre-V buckle. Here's the pictures.

This strap is the dark brown wide grain buff vintage model, Item# 24wgdkbrown.

Looks to be a very nice strap for the money. I'd put a Heroic18 buckle on it, though. Of course then the strap and buckle would cost almost as much as the watch

But isn't that a 111H

that is a good look. the strap looks thicker than 3mm or is that just the pics?
