The Panerai 111H, is unlike any other watch of the same brand, it lacks any complication and in its simplicity lies its beauty. Is classified as a historical and Luminor Marina is a "Step Up" base models, with no complications.

Each watch Panerai is limited in production. PAM 111 are only 2,500 produced and sold each year. Because of this, Panerai watches are in high demand and are often sold within hours of arriving at a showcase.

The case size is 44mm 316L stainless steel and polished in its entirety. The polished finish of the watch is unsurpassed. Have an acceptable weight (175 grams with belt) a strong presence on the wrist, the diameter and shape of the box makes it stable in the wrist and prevents wobbling from side to side.

It is equipped with a sapphire crystal scratch resistant, formed of corundum, and is 3.5 mm thick. It also has AR (anti-reflective) coating, which helps to reduce reflections and glare. The glass in the PAM 111 is slightly curved and not perfectly flat. The glass protrudes slightly above the polished bezel.

The dial is matte black and has huge numbers and luminous hour indexes. Panerai watches (as you all know) were originally created for the Italian Navy divers and required clocks readable underwater. As you can see, they are easy to read over the water, and I am sure under the water too. The dial reads Luminor, since it belongs to the family Panerai Luminor. The area also displays the word Marina, indicating that it is equipped with a second hand. You'll also notice that the word automatic failure under the name of Panerai, and that this clock does not contain an automatic mechanism.

This in particular has a sandwich dial, which means it is a line of several layers. A light layer underneath the top layer, black, of which the numbers and rates of hours have been cut. This creates a great depth and dimension to the field. I prefer the sandwich dial, however, painted markings are very nice too.
Painted marks are only available on older 111 (E, F, G series). All the 111 PAM after the G series have a strong sandwich.

Sub-second bolt in the PAM 111 is located in the 9 o'clock position. It is very different from what you see on other watches. The second hand moves in a sweeping motion and rhythms 21,600 vibrations per hour, or 6 alternations per second. The seconds hand is painted white and contains a light material (Luminova), allowing you to easily be seen in the dark. The white paint makes it easy to see during the day. The arrows of the hour and minute are painted black, which helps to merge into the single disc, but PAM Smart 111. As the second hand, two hands also contain Luminova, allowing them to be easily seen in the dark.

As you can see by looking at the picture below, the lume on a dial Panerai is unsurpassed

6497 manual movement. Panerai regulator said gooseneck and a new design of bridges. Panerai also increased the reserve. When cuerdaestá butt, the power reserve of this movement is approximately 56 hours. I have not tested the power reserve on my GPA. The oldest bridge in the PAM 111S (E, F, G series) were decorated with the seal PANERAIPANERAIPANERAI, I prefer the more modern "Côtes de Genève decoration.

Winding the PAM 111 is a pleasure! It only takes a minute to fully charge movement. Sometimes I flip the clock to see the gears move at a time. The only negative is not the subject of the crown, but rather the protector of the corona that surrounds it. The physical design of the watch crown limits the amount of rotation can be obtained during the winding crown. Certainly not something that bothers me, but it's something I've noticed and be taken into account.

The crown of a Panerai Luminor watch is unique and has become a very recognized a Panerai watch. the protector of the crown is the only part visible clock is not very bright. Instead, it has a brushed finish to help reduce fingerprints / stains or scratches that can cause the winding. This is a detail I appreciate the contrast with the polished case looks awesome.

I'm really enjoying this watch! I love the simplicity of the sphere, its unique shape, as is in the wrist. This is my fourth Panerai watch, but I seem to have a better appreciation of the mark in this model.

Thanks for reading y. .. sorry for my English.
