Panerai 111 update question

From what I gather from my search on RWI, is the Panerai 111N noob from trevor the most updated and best version thus far?

I haven't bought a panerai 111 replica in five years and I wasn't impressed. It seems as though there were a ton of improvements on the present versions.

Improvements I have read:
1. The canon pin issue finally fixed.
2. More accurate lettering font.
3. Ball bearing on the lever.
4. Exact 1:1 match on the parts.

I did notice also that my version five years prior had screws holding the crown guard and lug pins came loose consistently after about two weeks wear.

Thanks for the help.

Yes it's the most updated and best version so far probably. I have the 111m from Noob factory and it's pretty awesome.

Just use a little bit of locktite on the CG screws if you're worried. But after tightening mine up with a screwdriver i've had zero problems with these new breed pams.

I wouldn't bet that any rep you could get here is a 1:1 copy, I had a watch that was marketed to me like that and the strap broke after I put it on for the first time.

No, the 111 is probably almost 1:1 for sure. Angus did a comparison between gen, H factory and Noob factory and it's pretty much exactly gen construction and accuracy.

edit: i have to say that was a complete teardown comparison, not just externally.

From what i've read on repgeek the Noob factory has updated the model further, better dial, crown guard is even better, sharper edges internally, and back to the correct single Ar, here's a quote from Angus,

The new PAM111N is already shipping and the batch is already sold out, I got this batch 2 weeks ago but the maker never told me it had some changes on them, so some may have already received the noob 111N hybrid.
It is not a big operation but the noob maker didnt have a model to use the hands (they didnt have any N series watches) so they didnt make the pre-v hands, they used the N caseback for the 111 because they suddenly found out the M caseback was sold out.
They are already aware about the hands problem now and they should be making them already, hope they can make it before the next N-series rep releases

Are you speaking of the inconsistent lume on the hands versus the dial?

No, they were supposed to come with Pre-V hands I think.

Thanks for all the replies.

Why is there such a price difference between the Noob and the H factory Panerai 111?

Is the noob that much better?

Thanks.

Here is the teardown on the PAM111
http://puretimewatch.com/blog/182/

The version reviewed is the PAM 111 M Serial Version.
The newest version is the PAM 111 N Serial Version.

There are 3 types of 111 N Versions

1. H-Factory which just came out with the N version with an upgraded 21800 BPH Movement.

2. NOOB Factory which came with their N Version at the end of 2011, IDENTICAL to the M Version except for the 'N' Serial number on the back casing.

3. NOOB Factory's NEW N version that just came out last week with an Improved Crown Guard, Improved Dial Printing (No more Low A bar), Matching Hand/Dial Lume, Single AR (just on the inside like the gen). THIS IS THE BEST version to date hands down. The only problem is that the GEN N Version switched their hands to Vintage Hands. You can read about that here: http://www.repgeek.com/showthread.php?t=164831

That breakdown my Puretime was something else. Nothing short of amazing. The replicas have come a long way from five years.

Check out this video of a jeweler who was almost fooled into trading a Panerai for another one of his watches. He goes into a less detailed analysis of tells on a replica.

Thanks for the link to the review. Awesome. The Noob is way better.

Yup I've seen that video before.
The rep he has is a few generations behind with the Printed OP.

Now that it's engraved on the Bridge, if you do an "Y" incabloc mod, It's very hard to tell from Gen.

So guys, what do you advice now because new Noob is out of stock:

Wait (maybe 2 weeks i read) for the above mentioned n° 3. Noob Factory NEW N ?
Or is the H-Factory N with new highbeat also good for around the same price as the new noob N??
e.g. http://www.yourtrustytime.com/index.php?main_page=product_info&cPath=37_49&products_id=9172

I am not sure, after reading that comparison you see below, the noob one ist better for me, but i even don´n know if the H Factory improved their N version in comparison to the tested M Version.. anyone answer or a new link for me to have a look if i missed the right post :)
