pan111h only winds 25x runs 24h, repair?

I bought a pan111 ultimate from davidson and since I got it (1month) it went from about 50 winds and running well over 24hours to 25 winds and it runs for 24 hours on the nose.

do I have a problem here? I read in other posts that a pan winds about 50 times.

Dont know,,,but for reference mines only winds around 35 times and runs for around 36 hrs. and i just got it from dsn too. probably not right.

It is diffciult to give an opinion without inspecting the movement, but probably it is a problem in the mainspring barrel. If so, the mainspring should be removed, cleaned and assemblied again.

sorry to hear that, pete....mine winds about 28 - 32 times....and then runs propably 28 - 30 hrs...i dont care, cause i go to sleep....give it a few more winds....or wear another one next day anyways.
when it bothers me.....like once.....i can only say VACUUM !!

after that....45 hrs power reserve....and it runs happily ever after.

H-U, No I was saying two more sub par for the guys above. I have one sub par davidson...lol

I've been considering selling mine, but don't want to give the problem to someone else.

but realistically, even if you get one day power reserve just wind it every day. I built a 201/A with a true swiss movement, and i think i only get like forty hours from it. maybe i'll send mine to SOPROD, the company that does all of panerai's movements. then my rep will be closer to the genuine...lol.

you would be amazed to see the movement of a 201A....nothing special....really...pretty much just a naked 6497 with cote de geneve deco.
sure...few upgrade parts....but not to compare with the nice SOPROD nowadays.

you would be dissapointed !- this watch costs almost 40.000 $ !!

I have seen pictures of the movement in the 201. I bought a genuine swiss 6497 and it looks exactly the same as the one in the 201. the only difference is that the panerai movment says panerai on the train wheel bridge, otherwise the swiss and 17 jewells engraving is the same. mine actually is decorated in that it has some C D G on it. looks like fish scales actually and on the dial side it was engine turned, or jewelled.

by the way...tourby on repgeeks sells soprod movements. just swap them ! very very nice !
