Search!! First off, there are ALOT of Pam's you can get for under $200, but the rep strap color doesnt really matter because you need to buy an aftermarket strap from Don, BOB, HKTan, etc......

a few thoughts...

Good choice deciding to pick up a PAM. Since you’re interested in a brown leather strap, I’d venture a guess that you like the historic models…if that’s the case, a few good options are going to be PAM 000 (Base Logo), 005 (Marina Logo), 111 (Luminor Marina Black Dial), 112 (Base), 113 (Luminor Marina White Dial), 176 (Ti Base), or 177 (Ti Luminor Marina)…there are tons of others, 55, 127, 217, and then there are the Rads: 183, 190, 210.

The first thing you need to decide is size; do you want 40mm, 44mm, 45mm, or 47mm? 44mm is the most popular by far. Everything I mentioned above is 44mm except the 127 and 217 (both 47mm), and the Rads, which are 45mm. If you haven’t worn a ‘big’ watch before, 44mm might seem too large, but don’t worry about it. You’ll get used to it fast, and other watches will start to seem small…47mms are great, but a lot of people find them border line too big…it’s up to your preference…

The next thing you need to decide is crown guard (Luminor and Luminor Marina) or no crown guard (Rads).

Finally, you need to decide painted dial (000, 005) or sandwich dial (111,112,113…), and what color dial you want.

Once you have answered those questions, go to Andrew or Josh’s site, and pick out what you want. With your budget you’re gonna end up with an ‘Asian’ movement, but who cares, it’ll look great.

Good Luck!!!
