So after missing the Pam by ONE FREAKING MINUTE today I have become very interested in finding one with a carbon fiber dial. Does anyone make these currently? I'm not concerned with Swiss vs. Asian.

i was actually very happy to have found this watch back then and wanted to get it modded all the way....
well, it has a great mvmnt already, would evtl need a pin fix and lume ( if you care )
i also already thought i might regret it....
but i have 10 other Pams....well, i did not wear it often, so i decided to sell it
but i might regret it......lets see.

I found a PVD Pam at Silix so I'm going to keep looking around. Might have to get a couple watches to make one. OR, giezzo can just sell me his!
Not "made by" EL, Alvin, just "sold by" EL. He wasn't a "watch maker" in the vein that DSN is - he just had access to some really good reps (which may or may not have been able to be sourced through other dealers at that time).
Why not buy the pvd watch with CF dial from silix, use the guts and source a nice case, crown, cg and start looking for a CB?
COLDI, that's exactly what I'm considering. I'm afraid I'll wind up with stupid money invested though. Curse you, cruel fate! *shakes fist*

Based on your thoughts, looks like pretty rare example indeed.
Just wondering, which model exactly this watch based on? It seems that it would be based on PAM 111F with custom CF dial, but that one had polished CG, this has brushed.
Beautifully decorated movement, works very well. No swan neck(should it be there on this particular movement?)
The best part, besides movement, is CF dial itself. Interesting thing, it actually reads "L SWISS L", not "L SWISS MADE L"

Seriously, I wouldn't touch it mod-wise. I think it's perfect the way it is, and since they're not available anymore...
Planning on making one in a Ti case. Talked to Vac about luming once another parts watch is aquired to finish this one.
Seriously, I was thinking, if CF dials are such rarity, why not make them and sell them as "custom dials" for the most popular PAM models. If one can afford nice $100 leather strap, surely there should be interest in these as well.
