pams,...help newbie

well,..started off here the other week,......im totally addicted,..god theres so much to learn,......its great fun,.....been lookin for a pam luminor silver or titanium,...checked all the dealer sites that are stated ok,...

i see pams for 130 dollar to 330,....davisen,..purewaych and a coupe of other,...will i notice the extra do you think,...as non pro buyer.really would like a proper box etc too (just want a cock on version)

what do i do,....i just want to buy now,...but feel i just need that bit more knowledge beforehand,....can you help

any thoughts from the masters,.........appreciated

ive just scrolled through all his watches,......going to narrow it down over the weekend ,..and order,..

what mods or extras shud i ask for,......or will he have done what needs doing,..

i like the glass back ones,...is there anything needs sorting there,.....and want it to glow well to??

how many watche su got then,.....42 im guessing,..chuckle

A nice Davidsen 111 swan neck is a fantastic place to start.
It's clean. un-cluttered, has the display back, and is the quintesential Pam.
But any model that grabs you is the one to get.

I started with a Davidsen 112 based upon a review here. I now have 3 of his. You get what you pay for! My 112 has the swan neck and Swiss movement and is a thing of beauty--though I had to have it cleaned by Vac Lume shortly after I got it. Then buy a good strap for it. Davidsen's are reputedly among the best of the rep straps, but his are nothing compared to Savage or Tootall.
