The other one is for a buddy of mine, who I underhand converted to reps

I don't know, I never tried the gen.

Finish is of course so-so, but the overall quality is surprisingly good for a rep strap. Way better than any rep strap I've tried before, including DSN, and very comfortable too!

One above the wrist and one below "nurse style"?... or stack one on top of the other with a few MM of leather between the lugs?....

Either way, you'd start to look like a certain departed Mr. Hysek if you walked around sporting four or so watches at a time.

Then again... If I could strap several Breguet Tourbys on my wrist on a daily basis, I would.

Just got mine. I think the strap sucks, if this is anything like a gen panerai strap I feel bad for the guys spending 150+ on them. No where near the quality of a heroic, kain, orloff or other decent strap makers... Wish I would have gone with rubber, and glad I had a 24/22 orloff cashmere on standby.

Sure it is nothing like a high end hand made strap, but for a rep strap it's really not that bad. At least it's the best "out of the box" rep strap I've ever seen.

Unfortunately I ordered the 005 on rubber. Made me understand that there is no way I'll ever wear a Panerai on rubber.
