my thanks to davidsen too. My order wasn't as complicated as yours but I feel deeply touched by mr. davidsen's flexibility and willingness to work with customers. I've been wishy washy about what Luminor Base dial. I ordered one of those he lists but in SuperLume. No problem to davidsen. A day or so later, I felt the lume is too vintage. I email davidsen to ask if it's too late to change the order and if he has a more contemporary white lume. He replied "I will make you one but it wil be a couple days later than originally planned". I was speechless. Where do you find a dealer who will custom-make a part for you? He's not just a dealer. He's a true artist, enthusiast, not someone who orders from factories and wants to make a quick buck (I'm say our other dealers are. They are all above and beyond most other dealers).

in my opinion he is a great dealer with excellent products and customer service. when i got my 195 from him the screws stripped out in the watch and the buckel in only 1 time of changeing straps.

since his watches use a different size and thread screw i didn't know where to buy them. i notafied him and he sent me new ones no problem.

when i get ready for a 111h i will buy the new one he is selling now. he said he is correcting the problem with the spelling on the back of the case as we speak and the font on the dial is fine with me.

i am defiantly going to buy from him again and i recomend him and his products highly

For some of the newer members, Davidsen is not simply a dealer in the sense his products are made by the factory he works for. So, where most Dealers are sales reps, (A rough definition, but accurate.) DSN has control over the product from start to finish and has decided from the beginning to make his offers based on the premise to offer something different and unique, "not the average replica. "

Every one of his watches are designed and created, not just bought wholesale. Often this means custom parts created specificly for sale from him and no-one else. That is simply why his results are often stunning, have details other "brands" don't include.

It is such a simple concept, it's flat-out funny no-one else figured out this approach. But then remember. Replica factories in general DO NOT make reps for collectors ... they make them for the masses. Mass production is the rule, not customisation or low production.

So Davidsen is a rare gift to us. Who else listens to our rantings and detail obsessive sickness? The fact we will argue over fonts, measurements, logos ... the number of Angels on a Spring Pin head ... DSN listens and he responds to our whims and wants. I have watched this progress and grow and expand into something really remarkable. 2 years ago, if you wanted to collect a watch model that wasn't the flavour of the week, good luck. The replica market has shifted in favour towards the watch hobbyist and collector. Sure, you can still get Canal St. fare and that will always be there, but I also remember the days when our complaints and frustration fell on very deaf ears.

i agree with everything you have said 100%

I am holding his 005 in my hand right now; the weight and heft of it, the quality of the stainless steel case and fit and finish, the AR on the safhire crystal, the quality of the dial work, the CG, even the quality of the leather strap that comes with it, all outstanding. The best rep I have ever purchased!!

Couldn't agree more on this. "Who else listens to our rantings and detail obsessive sickness?" That sums it all up about davidsen. Let's keep supporting him and his products.

Yes! Mr. Davidsen is the best. Enzo sums it up the best IMHO.

I've really ran out of compliments for Mr. Davidsen, he's just the Ultimate. :)
