I want to say that I am very happy with this release, I mentioned many times in different posts that I am upset by the fact that white dials are bypassed, and in fact, since PAM113 / PAM114 from NOOB and HF, we have not seen a mass REP in a bettarini case with white dial, especially with a solid caseback. (Except of course KW/V6F and DSN PAM602, whose potential was not realized at 100%)

It is clear that since the PAM778 is planned, then the PAM775 base is just around the corner, which on the one hand is a good choice, because, despite the P.6000 and a thickness of 13mm, which will most likely not be on REP, we have a chance get +/- the correct case layout if the manufacturer engrave the V+ series that came with the 7233 case and had screw bars (After all, I understand that sprinngbars on bettarini, since the XF days, are a lost knowledge).
Yes, most likely they will miss the roller on the CG lever, which should not be, and the caseback will remain screwed, although no one will prevent you from leveling it horizontally, imitating "driven", which is still better than a faceted caseback, instead of a round one, on 7040 cases , the production of which, apparently, remained a lost knowledge.
As for the integrated bezel, I won’t hope too much, I’m sure if this ever happens, then obviously later than the appearance of the P.6000 clones.

In general, losing a priori the design of the case, the thickness, the clone, I could forgive the CG lever, in exchange for impracticable springbars and a round caseback, but this is only if the serial engravings for this lineup remain correct.
Moreover, I personally like the transition on white dials from the generation of 7040 to 7155 models, giving more sweeping and thicker fonts that fill most of the internal space of the dial, especially on PAM775, especially since they are brought closer to the general style, for by thinning the fonts of numbers. This unification makes the watch clearer, simpler and simpler (for example, in comparison with the first 113/114 series).

However, given that the promo from HWF shows PAM660 instead of PAM778, I am very wary of these expectations...

A great looking watch, in my opinion. I will be highly tempted - I'm always a sucker for interesting dial colors.

What is the difference between a 660 and a 778? They look so similar on the dial side I couldn't' figure it out :ROFLMAO:

In fact, only dials can be similar, and then, after all, with changes.:giggle:
From a quick note: PAM778 has a manufacture clone of the P.6000 and uses "modern hands" with a line tip, while the PAM660 on the OP.II has "PRE-V hands".

As an example, in this photo there are PAM114 and PAM010, the top one has a modern hand with a long tip, and the bottom "pre-v" hands with a short one.

During the OP.I/II, OP.X/XI era they swapped them, but eventually settled on "PRE-V" starting from 2010-2011 for most models, however, all P.5000/P. 6000 models have always received only "modern hands" with a long tail, starting with PAM510.

That's funny. As @KOT1917 allready mentioned, the watch on the Promo-Picture is indeed not the 778 but the 660. The different hands where allready mentioned and you can also spot the difference from the size/position of the small second at 9.
Let's say it like this - this is not the best sign, that HWF will order the correct parts this time. That's not so surprising. They had severe problems with their 'hands supplier' before 😂

778..

660..

I haven't anything particularly decent from HWF to be honest. Wouldn't expect it to miraculously change with the latest release, whatever it might be !

Better than it could have been.
To evaluate the dial, photos of a different level are needed, but actual errors are not visible from these photos. It is obvious and expected that the CG lever has a roller that should not be, and the engravings of the caseback are again not correct, otherwise we will wait.

Thank you! Very nice piece anyway

Is it me or the numbers look a tad bit thinner than gen? Or are my eyes predisposed to see fat numbers coming from HWF?

From this modest set of photos, everything looks about right, however, this is a matter of setting the camera in white balance, because the brighter the white, the thinner the black elements appear in the photo, so it's worth looking at more photos taken in different lighting conditions and from different cameras.

In general, as I mentioned, PAM778/775 has larger lettering and thinner fonts and numbers than PAM630/PAM660.
