Anyone have the rotor come off on the 727 ? Mine just came off and won't really press in firm enough to stay on.

From what I know the rotor is force fitted. Maybe the gears on the rotor aren't aligned with the one on the movement that's why it couldn't be pressed to lock in place?

Now the crown won't turn in the first position. Strange. Anyone want to take a look at it or think they can repair it ? I'll toss in $. Watch is still running. It last 3 days on a full wind. FYI.

Ok. The rotor will not stay on. Period. When pulling everything apart I noticed the Dial is just sat in place. No screws holding feet tightly in place and no glue on back of dial. As soon as you try to pull it out of case the hands fall off. I then proceeded to remove the Deco plate. As soon as I did that a small piece of metal fell out which is what I believe to be inhibiting me from rotating the crown in the first position. Now it winds normal so I can technically still wear the watch if I choose to not replace the rotor. But I am going to try to glue rotor in place unless someone has an alternative idea.

Watch his fixed for now. Rotor is now glued to the base with a non super type glue. Also the Dial has been blued to the movement holder on the top. we will see how long this will last.
