Hi pammasters, can you guys help me to find out what version of pam719 is this? Cheaper 23J or Vsf v2 p9001?

Hi friend. I'd say it's the cheap one because of the position of the date wheel. but the best way to know is to try to change the date. If you do it by having to move the hour hand, it is a clone, if you do it by turning the crown, it is cheap.

Solidarity with pakito, but the date font gives out a cheap replica. It is worth making sure it is made of titanium or steel.
Pearl also speaks of a simplified version.

Yep, that was my first thought. Date font is different, too thin for vsf ver. Thank you kot1917!

Please, always happy to be helpful. This is the standard date font for st2555 in my opinion. It differs in shape, thickness and color.

Well that date window indicates it's the cheaper version, but it's not a sure thing. I have an aesthetically identical PAM719 from VSF with an A7750 based movement that can confirm that. I was supposed to do a comparo thread before but didn't think people would be interested.

Your comparisons are always very interesting Erick.
719 is not one of the most popular models out there, but in my opinion it is a very exclusive piece and tremendously grateful when it is dressed well.
In the photo a 2019 VSF with original strap and buckle. waterproof at 100 meters and with the rotor silenced. The lume is the worst thing about this model.

I agree 719 doesn’t get enough love on RWI.
i think it will be my next panerai. Have you try it on leather strap. I think it looks cool on vintage brown leather strap.

I have same exact strap and for some reason I don’t like in on my submersibles it looks nice but for some reason I don’t like it

I’ve never tried it in on a submersible. But I thought I was not going to like it in on a Radiomir and now I love it.

I agree, Subs may look a bit too "techno" sporty for such straps, when the gorgeous 288 wears way more elegantly.
Mine says Hi (but no pics, it's getting a full service right now ).

That is a V1 since you can change the date using the crown. The V2 uses a superclone P.9001 which moves the hour hand independently when the crown is at the middle position. Yes there is no V3 yet although the V2 is just fine as it is.
