Hey all,

new forum member here! I've been reading a lot for the past few days (this community is awesome!) and decided to get my first rep.

PAM661 really caught my eye but I could really use some help picking the right version.

Looks like only V6F makes them and they have two version Lite and non-Lite. Based on the description on puretime, they are identical and to my untrained eye look the same. The only difference I see is Asian 23J movement in Lite vs. 7750. The price difference is $40 which I do not mind at all.

Which one should I get? I saw some concerning posts about 7750 reliability and even saw someone left a review on non-lite version that it died on the third day.

As far as thickness, they appear to be the same. But what about the weight? While I don't want a super heavy watch, I still like to feel it.

Thanks so much!

The weight is more or less the same between both movements (A7750 in the non-Lite and Seagull 23J in the Lite versions), at least nothing that you would be able to discern on the wrist. That said, the less expensive Seagull is more expensive to repair as that almost always requires a movement change, whereas the slightly more expensive A7750 is pretty common and the parts for it can be bought, no need to drop in a whole movement.

appreciate your response, I think I will go with 7750. I am very excited!
