Hi everyone,
I just received my new PAM609 and It looks great and the movement is working well. But the whole movement is actually moving within the case when It is turned upside down.
It's not a lot, maybe a couple of millimeters. However
1) it makes a cheap sound (tick) and
2) the small shock that the movement gets when it bumps either against the back glass (when facing up), or against the dial (when I turn with the dial up again) must not be good for its longevity.
Is that an issue that you have heard of on this or similar model? If so is there an easy way to fix it? Maybe a specific screw that I need to work on?
I have attached pictures to better explain.
If this is not a known problem I was thinking to open the case and just add a couple of glue dots between the side of the movement and the inside of the case. But preferred to ask your advice before doing something potentially stupid
The TD is ok if I send it back, but I figured it might save everyone the hassle if there's an easy solution.
Thanks!
