Canada, but in Hungary... for now
Hi guys, I'm a little concerned about the +10 seconds. Should I be?

when you get it - it will be always something different after such a long trip. easy to regulate. Works fine with low beat rate error which is nice.

Such a short reading in a single position is of very little use in predicting performance of the watch. Good amplitude and low beat error indicates that the watch is in beat and that power is getting from the mainspring to the balance as expected. I would not be either worried or encouraged about the +10 as it is meaningless for such a short sample time.

The most important thing is the nice clean trace, no rough pallet stones, no bent staff etc. That, sir, is a good 'un.

What are the min-max acceptable figures for beat error and amplitude?

it is probably front-load. You need to remove bezel to access dial etc.

That's what I was thinking (dreading). How would I go about confirming it?
Are there any tutorials about it as I've never attempted it before?

Thanks :)

Maybe one of the modders can help you out. The PAM127 is a front loader and I remember a member taking a hammer and knife (I would presume a case knife) to the case to remove the bezel. But better if one of the modders explain it (and best with pictures). :)

The construction would be like SF Pam 425 - so bezel is being kept by plastic ring. Case knife would do. I removed 425 bezel by use sharpened plastic piece you use to play guitar with (I don't know English name for this)
