Hi all,

I have a couple of questions regarding this rep.

1) Based on research this appears to be the best rep available for the 535 that is currently available. Can someone please verify?

2) The movement on this is automatic. I have some reps where you can really feel the movement rotating and swinging when I move my wrist. You can also hear it from 2 feet away. Just cheapens the whole experience in my opinion. Does anyone have any experience with this movement and is that the case or is this going to be quiet/still while on my arm?

3) Are there any superreps in a 42mm? If so might be a good alternative for me as well.

This is the best version of this watch with A7750 NON-inverted movement
Regarding the noise of the rotor, it is a lottery, it depends on the unit.
Anyway, a friend watchsmith could reduce a little the noise with oiling

No super reps in 42mm. Thi is one of the best and mybe the nicest one

The ZF seems more cost effective and also comes with a complimentary strap. Don’t know much about Panerai and this would be my first one, really like the dial and the fits good on my wrist when I tried it at an AD. Thanks in advance.

The ZF has a brushed case while V6F and the Gen have a polished case. I think that should be reason enough to get the V6F. If ZF couldn't get this big a detail right, would they have bothered with the details? In my opinion, V6F has always been ahead of ZF in the design & QC department.

Thanks so much for your reply. I was leaning towards the V6F but just wanted some confirmation since a TD told me ZF is much better [emoji47]. I asked in what way and this was the response: “The ZF is definitely better but i don't know the exact ways why” and so with my doubt I decided to come here to the forum... thank you! I will go with V6F.

Sounds like your TD has a ZF in stock he wants to get rid of [emoji23]

Lol, I know right.. never dealt with this TD before.
But wait, after reading your response, I took a closer look and both the V6F and XF have brushed case only bezel is polished..

There's no XF. You're probably looking at V6F v1. V6F v2 had a polished case like the gen.

Yes, I checked 4 other dealers and all 4 still did not show the correct fully polished case. But if you show them the link above and explain the difference I am sure they can confirm with the ZFactory and get you the correct version.
