The PAM531 doesn't seem to be overly popular, so the info is a little hard to find....and some is contradictory. So.....is the GMT hand on the PAM531 Q VSF 1:1 Best Edition on Black Leather Strap P.9003 Super Clone V2 12 or 24 hour?

Thanks for any info anyone can provide!

Is it even available? I’ve tried to purchase a few luminor models and the only ones that are available are the popular models (like the 372, 111,127) and the luminor due (42mm) models. It’s all carbotec submersibles.

That is sort of what I feared. I am not a hulking human being, so the carbotec are out of the question.....no matter how cool they look.

Are there any Panerai GMTs that are readily available I should look into instead? I'll also throw something up on m2m.

Gen 688 has a 12-hout GMT. Most, if not all 24-hr GMT PAMs have 24-hr indices.

Yeah I know many have the indicator on the sub dial as well as the gmt hand on the main dial but I’m not familiar with the 42mm dues.

Now I'm confused if the gens are 24 hour or 12 hour on the GMT hand!

There is an easy way to tell (aside from checking Google). Just look at the dial. If there are 24 hour markers on the outermost part of the dial (or on some on the bezel), then it's 24 hours. If there are none, then it's a 12-hour GMT.

I ordered pam531 VS V2 and received in nice condition, it was returned and changed to pam 441 due to GMT turn 2 hours with 1 hour time. From TD V2 version all with this defect.

I'm just thinking, would there be a way to mod the 12-hour hand into a 24-hour one? A lot of rep clone movements are just an amalgamation of various parts from other known movements. It may just be a case of swapping out one wheel or gear.

Could be if you think about it. But you would have to ask a talented watchmaker to perform the modification as it may not be as simple as it sounds.
