Hey everyone, had my PAM512 for a couple of months now. I have read a couple of comments that the gen is recessed and that the cp isn't a problem for this model. However, I am unable to get any verification as I have looked at gen photos as well and my untrained eye I really can't tell. Does anyone have an opinion on this or has anyone performed this mod on the PAM512?

Mod the CP? No, I would not recommend it. You have a bigger issue with the wrong movement at the back rather than a CP that would look minuscule at arm's length.
