PAM448 (ZF) - Problem with crystal

Hi guys...this thread is my very first question on RWI which I really need your kind advices and comments about my problem.

I just got a brand new ZF Pam448 on yesterday. While I was softly cleaning the crystal with the microfibre cloth, I noticed that the crystal was loose and could rotate without any hard force but didn't fall out of the case. My first attempt was to gently press the crystal with my palm but it didn't solve and the crystal could still rotate (though it was a bit tighter after my press).

This 448 is my 5th rep and it was the first time I faced such problem.

Wondering whether it is serious? Whether the movement needs to be removed for the crystal fixing?

Appreciate if you could grant me solutions.

This is not normal at all. The plexi is not meant to rotate, it is pressure fitted inside the bezel and it should be firm.
Maybe there's a gasket missing or maybe it's something else, but you need to disassemble movement and case and check or you risk the crystal falls off. Maybe you're lucky and the crystal can be glued in place.

Thank you so much for your comment. this is the 2nd time I faced the problem with 448 model (first was the crown problem that it could not wind the movement). H'ever, still love its Cali dial and just could not make my mind to let go this 448. :notlistening:
