PAM448 is running too fast.

A week ago I bought a PAM448 ZF from Intime / Ryan. QC photos and timegrapher photos were all fine. Yesterday I got the watch and winded it then set it. It was 10pm. After twelve hours I went to control the watch in order to understand its accuracy, but I was completely shocked. Instead of seeing 10, the watch was showing 12:17. It is running too fast and now I don't know what to do. I sent an e mail to Ryan about the issue. I truly don't know what should I do. Maybe you guys have experienced it or know a solution to that problem.

Best Regards

It's possible. My previous bumblebee was running 5 mins fast per hour. And gained 1 hour in 12 hours!

yes i did give it a full wind. it is really so bad after waiting for it then encountered such a bad thing. i am researching the issue and some people said it could happen due to magnetism.

Or It moved only 2hour 17min not 14 hours.
I have 448 superclone. When I receive it, It stop every 5 minutes.
So I wait it fully unwound. It cost over 7 days. I had to watch my watch every 5 min and touch a crown and then it move again ( sorry for my english)
Anyway When it fully unwound after a week, I rewound it and it started move normal
Now for several months, It is going good

As I recently bought an watch http://forum.replica-watch.info/vb/showthread.php/214355-Panerai-390-H-Factory-Asso-Leather that was also running too fast, I did some research that helped me to solve the problem.

Most likely your watch got beaten during the transport. And now the balance spring is twisted. There is an easy fix. Let the watch run until it stops. Then give it few stronger beats with your hand from the face side and from the back side. Balance spring should straighten up and it will run as it should. Wind it up a little and test it again. You could use iPhone app "Kello" to test the timing. If it is still running too fast repeat the procedure. But never beat the watch when it is ticking!!!

If you have tried it 3 times and it still does not run as it should, there could be also other problems:
- Coil spring is dirty and needs cleaning. Not so expensive to fix.
- Coil spring is magnetized and needs to be demagnetized. Easy fix. Just buy 10 usd demagnetizer from ebay and give it a try.

**If you do not want to hazzle with above stated solutions, then there is an other option as well - sell it to me half the price and then it is already my problem... :)

better fast than slow... but i would send it back. 3 hours indicates that the hairspring is faulty

Yep, it's going so fast that it's either a twisted spring (not ultra likely) or the balance spring for shortened quite a bit. The possible causes of this shortening are: dirty oil (therefore a good cleaning with gasoline might be needed... Not hard but you need to know your way with a watch movement quite well) or magnetized spring (the most likely). In this last case a $10 demagnetizer from eBay could solve your problem in a matter of seconds!

I know very little about movements, but I second this.
I read a few posts about watches running crazy fast that were fixed rhis way.
