This is my first post so I apologize in advance for any decorum or procedural missteps.

I've searched for posts, but could not find any information on the "scratch proof-ness" of any of the makers coating on their respective 441's. could someone either elaborate or post a link to the appropriate thread? I would certainly appreciate the help.

Coming from a PAM owner, the case is no doubt durable. But do be warned of the potential chance of the watch showing signs of "material transfer". What does that mean? It means when you hit something that is of a lower scale on the hardness rating, be prepared to see streaks of whatever material you came in contact with (i.e hitting your watch on a aluminium pole will cause white "scratches on your watch".)

Also, as it is a matted surface watch, be prepared for oil stains if you do not clean your watch well.

Yes, I do make mention of that in my review, specifically the tendency of the titanium clasp to leave marks on the ceramic bracelet as they continually make contact during wearing of the watch.

With that being said how did you go about cleaning off the stains + "scratch marks"? I've been using warm water & erasers to try to get it off. I'm guessing there should be an easier method.

My marks weren't as severe as yours as I could easily remove them with a wiping cloth.

We were all mostly ignorant (about reps anyway) when we started this hobby. As long as you take the time to read what has been posted before and not repeat the question asked already, you should be fine. :)
