Hi,

I can't set the time on my new 411.

Is there anything I can do short of sending it back to the TD?

The watch winds and runs, but I can't get the crown to move the hands -- all the crown can do is wind.

Thanks!

What happens when you pull the crown? Do you hear a click when it changes to time setting position?

I hear a click but instead of the hands moving all I can do is wind.

Try removing the crown guard and see if the crown needs to be pulled out further

The crown guard was the only thing holding the crown in. Looks like I have a keyless problem. The TD said try locally to fix it or send it to China again.

Anybody have any US-based repair persons? I'm in SoCal. Thanks.

It might be very easy to fix. You need a rubber ball or a duct tape ball to open the case back. You will see a little screw close to where the stem inserts into the movement. Insert back the stem gently and screw in that screw tightly. It should work after.
There is a list of tutorials with pics in my signature, you will find some helpful info for sure.

Oh yes! Newbie owner 1 : loose stem 0.

Another victory for the lads.

My gratitude!
