Planning to get my 2nd rep here at RWI and I am looking at the PAM390N from H factory.
Can someone tell the newbie in me the difference between the $175 H fac 390N and $268 H fac 390N ?
I noticed the price difference between these 2 TDs selling the same model from the same factory. Sorry, not sure if I can mention their names here.


I've read the Reference PAM Review Guide here - https://forum.replica-watch.info/vb...earch-Identification-Evaluation-amp-Selection and found out that the 390N from H maker is also considered a "super rep". Does it still stand true in this $175 model?
Is H maker same as H factory?

Cheaper version might come with less accurate parts. However I am no expert on these H factory models.
I thought the Noob version is better?

Both are good as they are considered super reps as per PAM Review Guide. They have their pros and cons but overall, Noob is supposed to be better. But considering the price of H factory and assuming it's the same version in the review, I'd definitely go for it. I just need to confirm.

As far as i know, H factory usually does better job on the sausage dial but noob case/cg could have a slight edge.

I agree with you on this. If a TD has both versions with same price, Noob's 390 is my definite choice. But with the $100 price difference, I'd have to go with HF.

I just spent a few weeks reading about, and comparing the models, and settled on the Noob from Toro. Got my QC pics yesterday, and it looks awesome. Will post a review upon receipt.

Yes H maker is the same as H Fac, the name comes from the times when this maker made the Hublot BB V1 (H from Hublot), one of the best reps ever made.

175$ H maker is not a new model is an offer of the old H maker version before 2015.
268$ H maker is the new H maker with improved dial and new case

Old H maker version is still a Super rep and for the current price is a true bargain. I have had Noob V3, old H maker and old KW together. At this moment I keep old H maker in my box (I liked more Noob but the H maker dial is nice, and I gave the Noob and the KW to friends). I will change it in the future for a Noob V4 (real and complete V4)

New H maker has better dial and better caseset with nice CG, but it has sharper edges and sharper transition edges on bezel with a higher base

Of course Noob V4 is better, with more accurate caseset and CG and even similar dial (this is a taste matter, because both are different form gen regarding lume structure) and better caseback. It is a sure value and my preferred

If you are looking for price the old H maker for 175$ is perfect. One of the best bargains in rep market

The cheaper one is cheap for a reason be careful. Might sneak in some garbage parts bro
