PAM390 gen vs rep H maker

Of course it is not 1:1, but you relly need to have the gen side by side to spot it

Could bgcn conform this subject

What about the lume application ?
Is flatter in gen?
Could we have dial pics of the lume application??

The order of quality level of accuracy in this replica is (decreasing quality):
- Noob
- KW
- H maker

The best finished and with more gen-like feel is KW by far

KW seem to be producing quite good reps. So why haven't I seem them more KW reps on this board. H maker seems to be more popular than KW.

KW is making replicas many time ago
But just in 2012 they start making different replicas, under other concept, with an awesome finish, care for details and gen appearance.
People were used to buy Noob and H maker, because they are famous, they make many Super replicas and there is many marketing involved.
I think I was the first one announcing the new awesome quality of KW replicas, starting with a positive review of an accurate dial for PAM 360 and then with a full review of PAM Boutique 417...etc..and KW Luminor cases.
Besides, KW has a much more selected but reduced range of products
Now, KW is in the first line with Noob and H nmaker producing first quality PAM replicas.
KW replicas are very well finished, get a great care for details and have an special gen appearance.

Just a matter of time and propagation.

Hi Ale!!

Aout hands it ´s really hards to tell, very hard. I d say that perhaps gen hands are a bit more shiny! but these hands really "show off " a lot so it depends on the light, they change.

About lume I just put both watches under a bulb light, switch off lights and I can see the same, no differences. I must perform a longer test and take pics

flatter numbers. Yes! absolutely. I used my magnifier glass and in gen numbers apperar like in some gen models of series B (that s the ones I touched and know better) Dial is a bit carved and then Luminova applied (it isn´t a sadwhich dial however). Rep model shows a tipical "sausage dial" That ´s easy to spot with magnifier glass. I couldn t with naked eye

About cannon pin, I can not see anything wrong.

Another "tell" is the script "Luminor Panerai" in the rep it s more flat, while in gen the letters have some "volume" and the painting is a bit shiny. This is hard to tell without the gen side by side

There is another tell and it is lugs size, in gen they are a bit "thicker" while in reps they are a bit "slimer".

Regarding lume application, are you meaning that the lume in gen and rep are like is showed in below pic?

Maybe in this pic is a little exaggerated the effect "flat" in rep and "sausage" in rep
Would be possible to get macro pics of both lume application systems

Regarding inscriptions on dial. I can say that Noob and KW replicas of PAM390 have raised (with "volume") and shiny material just like gen.
H maker inscriptions are flat and lifeless in comparison.

The CG in H-Factory needs improvement as it's not as sharp as Noob's and gen.

I don't know what it is but from first impressions looking at the pictures, I picked out the gen as the right one without reading past the first post. There is just something about a gen that a rep can't copy even from pictures. "genlike" feel

You can't claim gen like feel from pictures. :lol: I could also guess without looking. I would have a 1 in 2 chance of being correct.
