Rather than a silent follower of posts on 382 patina, I also decided to give a try
See the phases :)

Phase I

This is a photos before the start; the watch in as-arrived condition :

Phase II
Natural patina after several weeks - was looking fine

Phase III

Results after salty water enforced patina development

Nice shades/patches of purple, magenda, green, darker bronze and some blackish small spots
Was looking great under sun-light
But was not really looking aged

PHASE IV
Wanted to have the aged look
In the meantime dropped the watch and caused a ditch on the bezel around 1 o'clock postion as well as some dents/swirls.
Then thought I would create some camouflage, and proceeded forward

It now looks really more aged
The ditchs/dents on the bezel are now not recognizable and looks natural/complementary
- yet, personally I was expecting a more uniform pattern

Hope you enjoyed the photos
Would love to have your comments and which one you liked most

Keep it as it is or restart :)

I found that the boiled egg in a baggy trick gave the standard darkening ageing.
The caking in salt with water overnight gave more of the blueing effect.

Personally think that a combo of the two gives best results if you want a sped up process.

Here's mine. Still quite young. Needs time :)

Until I see a Bronzo with a gen like patina, I'm not gonna like any patina.

When I say gen patina, I mean like an old statue

I think the only way to get a gen patina is to just wear it daily and try to hold it a lot to let your hands help speed up the process. I think if you are located near the ocean it will patina over time. When i get mine i will do a deep clean and then let it just naturally patina. I will be posting pics too.

BTW, the after clean look turned out really close to New Gen like!

Loved your watch at phase 4! Good luck with the journey. It's funny how many differing opinions on bronzo patina are out there...forced, natural, clean. IMO, do what ya like! Here's my forced patina (salt water and ammonia fume chamber) bronzo:

Double that natural patina and you're on a good thing.

Vegasbaby,

Yours look really different ! Wear it in good health - awesome!

Thanks. After owning several Rolexes for years and no one ever complimenting them, I've had this Bronzo for 2 weeks and have gotten several compliments [emoji854]

I think the most beautiful stage is after the cleaning. You can see just a hint of oxidation in the crooks and crannies.
