Greetings !

I'm in the hunt for PAM 382 Bronzo:

1. VS/XF Factory
2. V6 Factory
3. SF Factory
4. ZF V4

Is there maybe 5th (better) choice ?

I've read review rep guide but, frankly, some things are not clear to me. ZF v4 seems to be best one, according to guide.
I don't know if those 5 up there overlap (are some of them same model).

Thanks for your help in advance !

EDIT:
Choice of 4, not 3. :)

They all have some good points and bad points in terms of 1:1 replications

SF factory have the subdial placed on wrong position so wouldnt go for that one,

VS/XF factory movement looks great but the casebacks are not made from sapphire like the front crystal

The best option at this moment is PAM 382 from VSF with the new movement

KW with fat crown is the best

ZF is good but the bronze allow has more copper in it and the pearl dissolved when I put it in lemon juice....

I really appreciate all the great info on this site and would like all experts for some advice on this watch also. I am close to pulling the trigger on the PAM382 VSF. Can someone tell me the length of the strap that comes with the watch? Also since I have a large wrist I will be looking to source a replacement strap and would like to know if anyone knows of a good strap maker that does a strap with a "bronze" buckle similar to gen but in bronze?
thanks all

Rep cracked leather strap is 75x120. Any of the resident strapmakers can make a strap to your exacting specifications, but not too sure about the buckles. Bronze (or bronze plated) pre-V buckles you can probably get from ebay and attach them to the strap after you get it.

Did you read Mike on a Bikes thread?
Don't worry about the strap that it comes with - they typically aren't great. Lotsa great strap makers out there. Depends on your taste.

You sure about VS not having sapphire caseback? Was told it was. Can any other owners confirm?
Regardless, have a VSF and it's been great aside from this new info.

Well after two months finally received my first (not my last) Panerai!! First one was seized by US customs. TrueTime was great sending my replacement. It's better than I could have expected since Ive worn a gen Panerai this is a really nice rep. I ordered an I'invitta Legione strap but I think its too light. Let me know your thoughts

Thanks

Well after two months I finally received my first Panerai (not my last) Ordered the Bronzo on May 10, after having it seized by US customs I finally received my replacement today. I have to admit I'm really impressed with the VSF version. I had ordered a strap for it weeks ago and although it is comfortable the L'invitta Legione is a little too light for this watch. What do you all think?
