PAM369 vs PAM512 - What should I get??

I've been going back and forth whether I should get a 42mm - I've done all the digging around I think I know what I'm getting into. However, and this has taken me a while, I've narrowed it down to 2 PAMs that are both 42mm and Radiomirs (I was looking for something that can be worn with a suit & I already won a couple of Luminors).

I was hoping you guys could give me an opinion on what you think I should get and why. Like I said I've researched as much as I can, so hopefully one of you guys comments or wisdom will help me decide. I'm weighing the quality of the watch itself, how close it is or isnt to the gen - and perhaps more subjectively - its beauty... Thanks!!!

369 for sure. But I would also go on to say for a rep 512 might be better get a 312,359,320 or even 351 you won't regret

While 369 is indeed beautiful, I would go 512 in a second. I think beauty of Panerai is in their simplicity and then any other factor. And as above said, 512 might be a bit better rep.

Take a look for pam 390, thats super rep and very nice to have

Thanks ALE, like so many, I've been extensively reading your guide and I have a couple of Super Reps in mind for future purchases. I just recently tried on a couple of Gen Radiomirs 42mm and I think they are gorgeous, very elegant and they fit my wrist a little better and can be used for a suit with a little more ease.

I was a bit more inclined to the PAM369, given the nice Seagull ST19 movement and even overlooking the minute counter and seconds subdial error (the open caseback doesn't really bother me)... all things considered a gorgeous watch, but with some glaring flaws...

But it seems the 512 might be a better choice, per all of your advice... I'm hoping i'll be able to find a deployant clasp & respective strap for the 512, although I haven't really seen too many options out there. Maybe ill try to ask one of the TD to look for me?

ALE you are right.. But magically the 512 resetted in my wife mind the number of PAMs that I Own, so I could buy few more after that

I would not mind a picture of that 512 with the grey asso strap, at all... :biggrin:

I think they're both great I tried on the 512 at an ad and it just left something to be desired in the wrist. The radiomir may not be a super rep but the case shape is simple and elegant on a wrist
