Guys, I would like a Radiomir as my next rep purchase and have been reading and debating against a PAM346 and a PAM512. This would be my first PAM rep and I'm having a tough time deciding. What do you guys think? Any recommendations? I've read a couple reviews of the PAM346 and both seems to rate highly of it. As for PAM512, I realize it is relatively newer and being a V1 has some key short falls comparing to the gen version. But I like the size and it looks quite nice. :) What are the key factors I should consider?

Thanks!

For a first PAM imho a sandwich dial and specially a cg-lever as features that make it different from any other watch:) Radiomirs still are beautiful...

The 346 is larger (45mm) and has a date function. 512 is smaller, (42mm) and has no date. I think either would make a nice choice. Biggest difference you would notice would be size. If you've been wearing 36mm watches, a jump to 45mm might seem extreme. On the other hand, if you've been wearing 50+mm dinner plates by Invicta, 42 might seem too small.
I like the date function, that's just personal preference.
The only drawback to these beautiful watches are that they have screw down crowns. I think that's annoying and could be problematic over a long life with the potential to strip the tube.
Just my opinion.

You can never go wrong with a 346 on an Orloff strap.
Pure class.

What's your wrist size and are you used to wearing watches bigger than 42mm.
I have a 6.5" wrist and ended selling all my Pams, leaving the 512 as it's about the only manageable sized PAM I can wear.

Thanks for the replies. I do have a small wrist, probably about 6.5". Most of my watches are 42mm but I do have a Tag Grand Carrera that I believe is bigger than 42mm (and very thick as well).

I've been doing some more reading over the last couple of days. And the new h factory PAMs with the very attractive price points combined with Daywatch's comments got me thinking. It is making my decision even harder. I have now added both PAM111 and PAM390 on my shortlist. Argh.... I should be trying to reduce the list not add to it. :D

346 no question. It doesn't wear as big as it sounds thanks to the "pillow" case. I have a 6.5" wrist, it's one of my faves for sure. Much better looking than the 512 imho.

My wrist is really thin (around 6.1-6.2'') so 45mm is not an option for me. I was choosing between 337/338 and 512, and I finally go with 512. I also purchased a carbon fiber strap to match its elegance. :)

I like my 512 a lot, it feels smaller than 42mm when you hold it in your hand. But once you put it in your wrist it just feels right. I normally wear 40-44mm watch so it fits just right to me.

Now that I see your wrist size, you picked the right size for the right fit. Looks good on you.

Well, I finally decided on the new h fac PAM390 for my first PAM rep. I know it wasn't the initial two (346 & 512) that I was considering. But hopefully I made the right decision. :) I'm sure at some point either or both the 346 and 512 would ended up in my collection. ;)
