Hi all
was searching thru the forum but can't find anything much on the PAM339 marina militare composite
anyone bought a PAM339 from anyone of the TDs?
which one has the closest match to a gen?

I think there is only one version available. And it's PVD steel not composite as per gen.

i think there are a few versions. recently saw a couple on some TD webpages. PAM339 is composite brown material and some TDs are carrying 'black pvd' versions. Anybody has the best 1:1 to the gen from the TDs? ie, brown dial, matt brown case, no missing '9' etc etc .... care to post pics?

Like I said, I've only ever seen one version, and that's PCD coated steel.

A while back I made a small review of the 339 and 2 models were available at the time, a black PVD, 47mm with a 9 and a brown PVD in 45mm without 9. I beleive that no other model has been made since.

thks boudart, i saw your review while searching for info on the 339. to be honest, its outdated as its a year ago. recently a few months back it seems there is a new piece out on the market. its on one of the TDs website. its 47mm with brown pvd case,brown dial and no missing 9. it looks very close to the gen with an asso strap on. the only thing about it is, the pics aren't clear. its on pur*time's site if anybody's wondering.

But I'm curious if anybody bought that, and if so how would the buyer rate it?

You sure you're not confusing it with the 386...

Hi mr
I knew this version very well because I'm working in a job about PAMs
But I think is a Black PVD and not Brown like Puretime is indicating in its catalogue. Look at the pics
Anyway I'm interested too in opinions or thoughts from owners in order to know the true.

Yes lets hope somebody who has actually bought it can share their thoughts and views on this piece. if the brown coat is done well, i think, save a few imperfections that have to be scrutinized on the dial, this could be a winner

The 339 from PT look like the old version with black PVD as stated by ALE and referenced in my mini review. It doesn't have the brownish color or the latest 386 (v1 had some purple reflection but the v2 case shown on PT site looks better).

But a mail should be sent to Angus to make sure this 339 is not using the same process has the latest 386, it still very hard to tell from the pics.
