PAM320 (Asian 7750 automatic 28800) stopped working

I received a PAM 320 Best Edition (Asian 7750 automatic 28800 movement) two weeks ago from Puretime. It has been working perfectly, keeping excellent time etc. Suddenly it has stopped working. I cannot see the seconds hand or the movement at the back working. I have tried to manually wind as well but it just will not start.

Angus and Puretime have been super helpful to date, so I am hoping they will help with this. In the meantime I'd be grateful if anyone can suggest if there is anything I can do to try and fix the problem. In the worst case scenario, is there a way to replace the movement in the UK? I am no watch expert so any advise would be great.

Thanks

Looks like you'll likely be sending it back to Angus. Sometimes giving it a good whack with your palm can get it started up as well but you should email Angus with the issue

hopefully no loose screws a good whack could dis-lodge a gear if a screw came loose, and create a little more damage , best of luck with it

Thanks. I suspect it may need to go back, as you suggest. I have emailed Angus.

One day I will wear a PAM and live happily ever after... (famous last words).

My suggestion is to send it to a modder and get the movement serviced and regulated. It will run awesomely after that. Vac has done all mine and its well worth it.

Thanks watch4king - that's very helpful. Would you be able to suggest how I get in touch with Vac - are the details anywhere on RWI?

Just did a search on RWI and found "vacuum" watchmaker. I'm assuming that is Vac so will send an email and see what happens. Thanks for everyone's help.

Sorry one last question - would anyone know someone in the UK who could service PAM reps?
