Hi guys,
So I recently got a H Factory PAM318 and decided to test the power reserve. So at 9:10 AM on the 23rd I wound it fully. I put some blu tac over the CG to make sure I don't forget and wind it accidentally. It has just stopped at 8:18 PM on the 25th. As far as I knew, the ETA 6497-1 has about a 46-48 hour power reserve, the Panerai 6497-2 has about a 56 hour power reserve, but my rep ran for 59 hours. Is it just me or is that insane? I wouldn't even have expected the full "gen" 56, let alone an additional 3 hours of run time. Has Seagull (They make the rep movements?) improved on the gen design recently?
Ironically since the gen PAM318 doesn't run a PAM movement, it runs an ETA 6497-1 base, this makes my watch inaccurate as it is running 23% better than gen.
