PAM312 KW v2 ST2555 - Rotor noise

Hi All,

I recently got my hands on this beautiful PAM312 v2 (ST2555) and I must say I am really impressed with the quality of this piece.


However, I am a bit concerned with the amount of noise the rotor makes when spinning. I have not compared to gen. 312, but comparing to my other genuine automatic watches (e.g Tag Heuer Aquaracer WAN2007), the PAM is significantly louder.


It keeps good time, so I believe everything is working as it should.


Is this normal, and would a gen 312 make the same noise?

I checked my 388 KW v2 ST2555 and it is making appr. the same noise.

I have a 312 but from Z Factory and the rotor is making just about the same amount as noise as yours. Everything is working and functioning as should. Seems to be normal to me.

My gen Pam (392) with P.9000 rotor is EXTREMELY LOUD. It's significantly louder than any of my reps with P.9000
Many of gen owners say the same thing about the noise of the rotor.

Considering this seems to be normal, even with gen models, I would highly recommend the 312 KW v2.

Hi, just to add to this mine is about the same as yours. Can I ask one question please. On the crown guard lever at the end does yours have the roll pin or is it plain?

Apologies mine does have a roller. I can only see the pin from under the watch. On the face of it you can only see it under a loupe, the fit is that precise.
