PAM312 Datewheel Question

Just got this PAM312 from another member last week, and I love it. Feels real solid and is a really nice piece. I only have one issue with it and that's the datewheel colour. It's really dark, and very hard to read.

I have attached photos, the first is the watch in normal light, and the other is with the flash on. You can see that without the flash, you can't even see there is a date feature on the watch.

Is there anywhere I can get a better datewheel or perhaps a modder that can do something with this one?

Thanks!

That's strange, because on the dealers pics the datewheel looks like the dial.. almost white and easy to see...

Better off just getting the best version of the 312. The version you have is most likely not an a7750 version, so getting a new date wheel will be tough.

Ok, I will post one when I get back to my computer. What makes it a "wrong" generation? I'm new to Pams so I don't really know how to ID the flaws just yet.

if u take a look e serial number, they look a lil italic & they have L serials..these belong to the latest "generation" of pams from angus, h factory&noobfactory.. they all have great lume, colourless AR, high CPs&better finished cases.. anything else, belongs to the older "generation" of pams where e lume sucks, etc etc..

just to name afew of the newer pams..

111J, 219L, 212I, 359M, 312L, 292K, 005K&so on.. quite afew of these recently.. another thing they all have in common as compared to e older "generation", is their serial numbers r mostly running or varies frm piece to piece.. unlike previously where they all have e same serial..

Mine is the older generation, I bought it from a forum member not from a TD.

I think I will contact a few local modders as well to see if they can help.

But now i'm curious...are there any other 'tells' from the front of the watch?
