Hey everyone long time no see! I am in the market for a Pam299 or similar 44mm pam super or first class rep with a bracelet as opposed to a leather band. My question is will the bracelet out of the box fit an 8 inch wrist. I have run into the issue with a few reps where I have to sit on a watch for month or two until I figure out how to source extra links and I don't wanna run into that problem again. Also are the pam rep bracelets worth a damn? Thanks for the help and if anyone is selling I'm buying fell free to PM me. Thanks!

Pam299 SS Bracelet Question

I have 299. I had to remove 3 links from the bracelet. I'm currently using a Asso strap at the moment. What I'll do, when I get home, I'll measure my wrist for you. I should know it really.
So I have a 6.5 inch wrist. As I said in my previous post I had to remove 3 links, which is probably about an inch. The bracelet is lose on me as well. Might be a little tight on a 8 inch wrist.
I've got a 7.25" wrist, think I had to take out 2 links if I remember correctly. So, as above, may be tight on 8".

The bracelet is very high quality. The gen has more precisely beveled edges, but that's about the only real difference. I have a 7.5 inch wrist and I removed 2 links. I still have them in case you buy the watch and the bracelet is too small.
The quality of the bracelet o the 299/7 models is actually quite the conundrum, given the fact that the bracelet is of very good in fit and finish, yet the watch typically sells for a similar $ amount as its cheap as all hell leather/rubber counterparts.
Yes, you can set-up a stainless pam bracelet to fit a 6" wrist. You can also fit it to a 8"+ wrist, though it may take a second bracelet to achieve (not positive on the stock size, largest I have sized one for was 7.5").
One of the main reasons why I bought the 299 was the good quality SS bracelet, nice and easy swap out for a leather strap if I want a change. Toro still has them for a good price as well.
The latest bracelet from noob 299 and 297 very good quality, only the screw on the bracelet very bad, but overall super quality.
But can i use my bracelet to pam 164 or pam 356 by noob?

This is one of the best PAM reps out there, it's really fine, and the bracelet quality as said above is very good. I have closely compared it to the gen and like the bloke above says, the edges of the gen bracelet have the slightest beveled edges while the rep is just straight. I used very fine grain sand paper and cape cod polish to bevel the edges of mine. I love the watch, it is indistinguishable from the gen. I also got mine from Toro who has the deal of the year on them so hurry up and get it before he sells out of them!
If combine pam164o or pam356o with this bracelet i think it will be awesome

Man that is one sick Pam! Where did you get the SS again?
The A7753 is on par with the A7750. Not all bettarini cases. They have to have the notch for the end links at the sides of the case.
I got it from an old PAM328L which I sold as a PAM312.

PAM243 - No, because the head does not have the notches required. You can after some sanding down of the endlinks using a dremel.
PAM312KW - No, because the thickness of the KW case is thicker than the 312L from where the bracelet came from.
