Hi,

Just received my PAM299 from Toros. Splendid service, arrived in 4 days. I was really impressed with the quality and feel of the watch once unpacked.

Then I noticed a flaw in the cyclops. I already searched for threads describing a similar problem and I am sure it is not a reflection/distortion from the cyclops.

It looks like the glue was not properly placed all over the cyclops or has just let go. This leaves 2 very distinct 'blobs' that reflect light, not only artificial lighting but also in daylight.

I was wondering if other people experienced the same thing?

The QC pictures showed nothing and it was very hard to take pictures , but you will probably see what I mean. Again, it's not a reflection. You can see the flaw as the white spec in the cyclops. It's actually a half moon shape, but hard to picture..

Will drop toros an email and see what he has to say.

Thanks for your feedback.

Regards,

I believe that is just reflection my 243 does the same thing at most angles but it always moves. Unless yours are always in the same 2 spots I wouldnt worry.

It is always in the same spot..

I know I will probably get slashed for this being a noob, but it looks like a manufacturing flaw...

It's quite obvious to see once you notice it..

Oh well.. :)

No worries, this "flaw" is very popular in cyclops.
PAM 243 owners know it very well
I'm waiting for mine from Toro too. Next week I will see my "flaw"... LOL...

I *thought* I really made sure this was no false alarm.. It is in the end..

This is just a feature of the cyclops so to speak. I examined the watch again and although it looks strange and distracting it is not a manufacturing error.

So let's start to enjoy the watch! :)
