Hi everybody,

I am an unfortunate owner of the beautiful Pam292K from the H-Factory.
My watch is not usable because a problem on the lugs.

I would appreciate to know the number of people unsatisfied with this model.
For this, all your comments or photos are welcome.

Thank you all.

I'll try and do a pictorial on the problem but I won't be able to for a week or two until I get home from work trip. But I believe the new version from H-Factory has solved this issue. Or so Josh says.

I hope they have fixed it for the M!

Although if they have it means I have no reason not to get one...

Hi folks,

Of course, I was talking about lugs, not legs. I corrected the error.
I am French and my English is very basic, sorry.

My 292 has encountered the following problem : a bad crimping of the case, which was that the lugs could not hold.
Ceramic and steel are not well held together.
My supplier told me that the manufacturer, the H-Factory, does not recognize this problem, so I'd like to know if this is a manufacturing defect or not.
For this, it will be interesting to make a census of trouble.

Two small pictures to show you that the case is not crimped:

The purpose of this post would be to try to find together a solution to this problem.

Best regards.

So far I've had 3 members contacting me about that same issue.

The case is made of two parts, one ceramic, one steel, and the 2 are glued together. But it seems the glue is not strong enough, and sometimes when screwed, the lug screws apply pressure on one part of the case, causing it to separate from the other.

A thread on RWG jr have also been started about that same issue: http://www.rwgforum.com/topic/138562-pam-292-solving-the-loosening-lugs-its-not-the-screws-or-lugs-or-thightening/

It would appear so. But the H factory never recognised this as an issue obviously in order to avoid taking the returned watches from the dealers. However the factory is obviously aware that getting a bad rep will stop people in the know (ie forum members + friends) from purchasing watches like this when there is a major risk of it happening. I was aware of it happening to other people, but took the risk anyway.

Worst comes to the worst and I will seal the two loose lugs into the case and still be able to use the other two lugs to change the straps.

@ Wiz, when you dissmantled the watches was it poorly fitting pieces that cause it to separate or just the pressure from the lug screws?

What causes the 2 parts of the case to separate is the use of an inapropriate glue to keep them together combined with the pressure from the lug screws.

The dealer I bought the watch from (not josh) offered to take the watch back and fix it, but I'm waiting on a returns number before I post it. If it gets returned and not fixed (ie same watch returned to me) then i'll maybe take it apart and see if I can't do something about it.
