Hello,

I need your help about my watch, hereis the QC pic, but I think there is a problem on the 12.

It seems that the 1 and the 2 are not alligned.

What do you think about it ?
do you see any other problem ? I am not talking about Flaws as I know there is some and here is not the point.
I am talking about problem.

Thank you very much ya all.

If you think there is a problem with the 12 then I suggest you start buying gens because reps are simply not for you.

If it is H-Factory then it is probably fair to assume that they are all like that!

Lining up a business card along the bottom of the 2, the beginning of the 1 starts on that line. Mine has the same 'effect' but it's where it ought to be. The rounded base of the one is what throws you.

Thanks for the kind answers (and the not). If I can't ask this maybe it's time for those who thinks that to go on gen forums.
I received my QC pics an found the 12 kinda odd ... that's why I asked, thanks bittrader for clarifynig this.
It is a H Factory.

It is on its way.

Good choice, it's a great rep.

Just be very gentle with the strap bars, and rather than tighten them too much, put a little low strength Loctite on the screws and just nip them enough to hold the bars.

Of course, you could fit a high beat movement, dull the dial with some Tamiya paint and polish the cannon pin too! But that's a clear sign there's something wrong with you!:lolcina:

I am thinking about AR, but I tought it was a 28000bph ? It is a 6497 mvt.
Isn't it high beat ?

Hi Despee
I think you are right, there was some answer not very nice
You are a noob and you are asking for help.

Besides, I think you are right in 12 matter. But what all members mean is that is a replica not a gen. And all replicas of this model will be the same

On above enlarged pic, you can see the problem, The 1 of the 12 is a bit more little than the 2

paneraiwith12mal.jpg

But all replicas of this model from H fact. will have the same flaw

Anyway it is a correct and beautiful watch
Enjoy it

AR compares exactly to my 312 gen. However the crystal is a little 'cloudy' when viewed from extreme side angle. I've not pulled it apart yet, to see if it's just dirty, or if the crystal is a bit dodgy. In any event, I think it's good enough.

The movement is a low beat 6497-1 clone running at 18,000bph. The correct high beat 6497-2 is 21,600bph.

The gen movement for this watch is the 6497-2:
Movement: hand-wound mechanical, Panerai OP XI calibre with swan's neck regulator, 16½ lignes, 17 jewels. Côtes de Genève decoration on the bridges. Glucydur® balance with Nivarox® I spring, 21,600 alternations/hour, Incabloc® anti-shock device.
Power reserve of 56 hours. Chronometer Certificate issued by C.O.S.C.

Uh oh! Another one starting! Careful, so far I have a UPO, Breitling Montbrillant, Panerai 292K and a Rolex SubC [BLINK]ALL[/BLINK] in pieces having mods done!
