Pam282

Anyone know where I can get a decent 282 rep? I saw this at the AD and loved it. Also, your recommendations for a similar looking (blue faced) Pam are appreciated.

In my opinion the best looking blue face is the Northpole (252 I think). It is a submersible, so it will have that look, but it is a beautiful piece. T4D used to have them if you are interested.

Thanks. One thing I find appealing about the 282 is the size and clean look. I think the 40mm size would look good with a suit. The Northpole is great, but too sporty for this application.

Davidsen doesn't make a 282 (or any 40mm case sizes). I'm looking at the 229 which is a 44mm steel case with blue face. Looks good too and with the right strap could do the trick. Any comments on the 229?

DSN's 229 is a great watch. No one makes 282 rep that I know of, just PAM48/50s and PAM49/51s.

PAM048 is a black dial Luminor Marina auto in 40mm on strap, the PAM050 is the same watch, but on bracelet.

The PAM049 is a white dial Luminor Marina auto in 40mm on strap, the 051 is the bracelet version with the white dial.

All 4 watches above are SS cased, not Ti like the blue dial 282.

Thanks a bunch. I think I'm going to go with the 229 - really digging the blue face at the moment and have 7 3/4 inch wrists to carry off the 44mm size. Imagine that matching that face with a blue alligator strap (as on gen) will dress the watch up for more formal situations.
