Pam253 Regatta features and questions

I did a lilttle of research on this model and found that are at least two types of replicas. One of them features a thickness of 18.5mm and the other at 17.5mm. Also, even though the majority of the rep chronographs contain an Asian 7750 movement, you could still find the Swiss 7750 chrono movement.
The detailed engraving on the back seem to be very close to the originals with the exception of the aligment of the Classic Yatchs Challenge letters.
This model was released as a Special Edition for the 2006 limited to 500 units.
I'm about to order one from our preferred dealers (Josh or Andrew), but as mentioned before I still have the doubt about the thickness 17.5 or 18.5? I'm definitely getting the one with sapphire and the A7750 movement.
Any further info could really help me out on this one.

here's a pic I took of my 253...
the numbers are not as bold as gen but overall, it's pretty close...
it has the updated asian 7750 movt.

Also, it is not uncommon for dealers to all sell the same version of a watch, and to each come up with slightly different measurements. I know it can be frustrating when you're trying to decide who to buy from, which model to get, or even how many models there are.

if you buy the beauty 253 (i have the 3rd gen version rep) you also have to look
at the corect dial. f.e. look at the number 10 of subdial at3. compare the rep with the
gen..also f.e. the words LUMINOR REGATTA and PANERAI Flyback (the size, position
and background)..compare the rep with the gen..I think that only the last generation
is very close to gen..but I think that this version oly exist with a7750 not with swiss eta7750.
My watch works very good....a perfect watch..but I am looking for another strap...croco or
kevlar or whatever.
