Question for the repristies. What is the "tells" and problems on the PAM250/236 reps currently in the market? I've been eyeing them for awhile now, and I understand that the datewheel is recessed and the datefont is thin. Aside from that, what are the known problems? Someone said something about the casing, but I'm not understanding what the flaw is suppose to be. Also, for the 1000th time, reliability of the A7750 high beat? (I don't plan on using the chrono much; I just need to know that the watch movement itself is reliable and sturdy; I know, I know, I'm beating this question to death)

Help me understand before I make my decision on pulling the trigger.

Oh man. I sold my brand new PAM250 (got it at bangkok MBK centre) for mere $220. I should have let it go to you should I know you are eyeing on one.

For current daylight PAMs, unless you are planning to drop in a ETA 7753 (which will not fit due to the incorrect position of the date pusher at ten o'clock) Otherwise, the daylihgt pams with A7750 run like a champ. Only fix you can improve is to get a lello date wheel (at 4 o'clock position) and install it. The bolder and whiter font of lello's DW make it look closer to the date window.

Lume is not bad for rep standard.

Beware. There are 2 version of the 250 or 236 dial. Pick the one with the better looking letter and correct font size "A".

Good luck :D
