It will but there are several different sizes of 7750 stem. Gone to watch smith now lol.

Gotcha! I remember the swiss stem being thicker than the asian clone, but I can't confirm this for the 243 clone movement. Hope your watch smith fixes your issue.
ETA make a few different thickness 7750 stems I think 0.9 is the most used though
